Need opinion on heads

Ok i have a 03 mustang gt 5 speed . A friend of mine has a set of stock heads for an 01 mustang gt i was wondering if you could port polish or shave or some how make more horsepower out of them and if i could how hard is it to change these heads or would it be a waste of time and money to jack with them. He selling a centerforce clutch and the heads for $350.Thanks for any info

It is a job to remove the heads. I would have a profesional P&P the heads if that is what you are going to do. BTW how much is he selling just the heads for?
