B bdcardinal tree hugger Jun 10, 2003 3,612 16 69 santa barbara, CA Dec 20, 2008 #2 Dec 20, 2008 #2 trans fluid = motorcraft mercon V anti freeze = any G05 approved fluid spark plugs = if car is stock use motorcraft brake fluid = any dot 3. the motorcraft is actually really good. for the trans fluid change writeup look at the TCCOA webpage. although its not in the manual, change out the trans filter.
