I just recently purchased a 2003 GT with a 5 speed, 3.73 gears, bassani catback exhaust, short throw shifter, subframe connectors, driveshaft safety loop, 31 spline rearend with cobra locker, K&N air filter and Mach 1 suspension. I was wondering what bolt ons would you guys recommend doing? I was thinking of of replacing the plenum, throttle body and buy a tuner. What do you guys think?

What is a Cobra locker? What is a Mach1 suspension? Post some detailed pics of the engine, exhaust, and suspension.

Your next mods should probably be a new mid-pipe and some nice rims/tires, preferably with 10" DD's in the back.

it has suspension from a Mach 1 mustang and i ment detroit locker rearend. The motor as far as i can tell is stock. I am trying to decide to get a supercharger or build up the motor (heads and cam). Which will be the best for my money and driveability? This car is my daily driver.

Well, I still think you should post pics of the engine, exhaust, and suspension. You may have more mods than you think.

The best mods for your money depend on how much you have but conventional wisdom is to do catback, shifter, custom tune, and perhaps gears as the first round of mods.

You already have all that stuff however. Can you afford a supercharger? They are $3600 and up.

A tuner costs about $300. Plenum and TB are ok mods but kinda expensive for what you get.

Supercharger is definately the better route than heads/cam on these cars. At least the first time around. As you start sinking more and more money in is when the heads will really shine, but i dont really think its worth it off the bat. And you can get some nice quality used complete supercharger kits for around $2000.

Get the Cobra/Bullitt/Mach 1 front brake conversion. Stoping power is the best performance upgrade money can buy. Your car isn't going to be fun to drive if it is smashed up.

Kenne Bell is an awesome brand. But they are expensive ($5000+) and that sucks. If you want new, i would go w/ the MPH Mongoose kit for like $3600 or the intercooled P1SC by ATI Procharger for around $4000.
