Hi guys,
I am looking for a typical caliper that can measure port dimensions, so a range of 1/2 inch and I should no need no more than a 3 inch for the other dimension. I figure this should be no problem, since I have seen calipers vary greater than this. Any good, cheap, and accurate digital calipers?
The main reason why I made this thread is to look for a "special" caliper that is flexible or ideas to assist. My goal is to get port measurements INSIDE the various upper EFI intakes.
I see two options for entry. Either from the runners from the bottom, or go through the throttle body tract and around to the ports. Impossible? Possibly, but I am looking for ideas to get the height and width of the port openings in the upper intake.
Either some "rigging", method, or a certain measuring tool I am not aware of to get these would be nice to know.
Thanks for any ideas.
