need some ideas

I bought this 5.0 from a guy who had the trickflow valve covers on it and of course he didnt give me the stock ones. He drilled a hole in the valve cover on the passenger side so that he could fill it with oil odviously. He just placed a little breather in there and it pisses oil all over the place and then it burns off the headers. Short of getting stock valve covers, you guys have any good ideas for what to do??? Something that i can do and maybe with parts purchased at Auto Zone?? If someone wants them ill trade for a set of stock ones?

May be find a rubber grommet at the AutoZone help section for the size of hole drilled into the valve cover, then use a push in breather?

you can get the correct oil fill kit from speed shops for around 30 bucks (IIRC).

First I would try to fix it. What heads and rockers does this engine have? As said before there is a kit from TFS for an oil filler neck and you can usually get a gromet to fit the hole, look in the HELP isle.

stock heads stock rockers on an HO engine. I have thought about the grommet, but the problem is that the oil comes out of the filter part of the breather. i guess ill have to rig something up for now.
