need some susp. help

well seems like im having susp. problems like everyone else, mine are sorta self induced. I just got my torque boxes reinforced and ive relocated the battery to the trunk as well as my ummm ...... 160lb system give or take a couple. Now my axel hits the pinion snubber under load and makes a vibration which well sucks bad.

heres my susp.

Drivetrain:
Star Spec Stage III clutch
SVO Aluminum Clutch Cable & Quadrant
Tremec TKO 600
Aluminum Driveshaft
strange spool 31 spline

Suspension:
SVO Subframe connectors
KYB Shocks/Struts
Steeda Caster/Camber Plates
Steeda Sport lowering springs
Steeda Tubular Front Stabilizer Bar
Steeda Heavy Duty Rear Stabilizer Bar
Steeda Adjustable Rear Stabilizer Bar (for sale)
Steeda Rear Heavy Duty Upper Control Arm
Steeda Rear Aluminum Lower Control Arm
Slot-Car Anti-Squat Brackets
Aluminum Offset Steering Rack Bushings

I was thinking maybe trying to put the stock springs back in  this one really baffels me.

thanks
(im not taking the sys. out :nono: )

rEally dumb question but im gonna ask

can i make my rear end rigid or is that just crazy talk??

That is just crazy talk.. The suspension allows for weight transfer (drag racing) for better traction, absorbs bumps (street driving)... Without it you would probably need to wear a mouth gaurd when driving around.

Now for this problem that you are having: When the pinion hits the subber, are you getting on the car? If this is what's causing it, I see you having two choices:

1) Installing stiffer rear shocks (and quad shocks)
2) Installing stiffer rear bushings on the UCA's.

i have red bushings? i think there special but im not to "good" with susp. any links to hard bushings, this intrests me.

im not running quad shocks. and stiffer shocks, maybe ill see if mine could be set stiffer. i was hoping someone knew what springs i can put in there. right now the top 4 or 5 coils are literally pilled on top of eachother at normal ride hieght.

Sounds like your springs are to soft for the weight.Did you put them in there mainly to lower the car?If so how much did it lower it?You might try taking your stock springs and cutting 1 coil off each one."use a cut offwheel or chop saw not a torch"One coil should equal about a 2" drop and give you a stiffer spring where maybe it will not bottom out so much with the added system in the back.
