Hi all, wondering if I could get some opinions on whether or not I should bother swapping wheels on my car.

Currently I am running chrome ponys but am thinking about doing a five lug conversion and running FR500's or maybe Bullit or Mach 1 style.

Thanks

The chrome ponys look good on there, but I am a sucker for anthracite bullitts or FR500's. absolutely no to mach 1's

I say to five lug and get an 18 x 10 on the rear. It would look great with big wheels and tires on that thing!

How about the 17x10.5 chrome ponys from MavroMont Industries - Home Page

I may have to convince the wife to get a set of silver ones! But I like the looks of the chrome one on your car!

I like the chrome ponys on it now. Bullitts would look good as well, but the ponys looks great on it.

i think it looks killer as it sits, to be honest

but if you really want a change i think i would like to see a 5 lug swap and some black FR500's, those wheels are just sick and would compliment your car very well, i think

I'm not a fan of bigger wheels but black FR500s or bullits would look tits. Clean car btw.

I think some 17" chrome ponys would look badass. Make the rears 10 or 10.5 whichever they offer, with some 285-315 tires, and your in business.

The Bullitts and FRs would also look good, but need to be deep dish to pull it off right.

Thanks for the suggestions and compliments. I really like the look of the 17" pony R, I may end up doing that or possibly the FR500s, how much work is involved in modding the rear to accept a tire that large and an 18x9 deep dish wheel?

That thing is mint. I wouldn't do a thing to it. The chrome ponies look killer on that car.

IMO 5 lug is a good thing to do if your going disc all around makes the car safer. any wheels you put on that car will look good

Thanks again for the compliments and opinions. Majority opinion (includes the wife) seems to be to leave it alone. I think I may do that, and just finish off the engine bay the way I want it to be and do something with the stereo system.
