Okay, I've searched the threads and I find a lot of answers to some incomplete questions.
Here's my question with the details. I've got a 5 lug conversion sittin' on my garage floor waiting for wheels before install. The conversion: SN95 front spindles and brakes, SN95 rear disc brakes with ranger axles. I already have 245/45/17 tires
From what I can tell by searching, the 03 cobra 17x9's will fit the rear just fine. however, since my car is a 90, will they fit my front setup without changing out the fenders to 91-93? I want NO rubbing issues. BTW, my vert is lowered 1.5" if that matters.
I'd like to get some wheels ordered tonight, but I just need to figure out if I should go with AFS's version of the 03's in a 17x8. They're $150 more for the set, but I wouldn't have to get fenders and then get them repainted to match my recently repainted car.
