Looking at the wheels on that GT, this was the first thing that came to mind.

Ya i was thinkning the cobra, some black saleens and black out lights full limo tint and a smaller pulley to start with SLP catted X and SLP loud mouth, the only thing that was holding me back was the miles.....

The 05 gt is nice but the rims are just a NO GO ! But the miles are low !

Ya I re-enlisted in the army for 6 more years and got a 18,000 $$ bonus, so I paid off my car that I have now, and had 9,500 left over, so I figured I want to start over and do it right...!

It really depends on what you want. If you want a really fast car stock, get the Cobra. If you want a more refined car with still good power get the 05 GT.

Both have huge aftermarkets, both can be really fast, it all boils down to what you want in a car.

I'd get the Cobra, but I would hold off and try to find one with less miles for the same price range. They are out there, just have to find them. Good luck!

05. I had the exact same dilema, and chose the 05. I found this thread very helpful...especially what gearbanger said at the end

The 05 seems more practical.....but the Cobra is....well a Cobra.

Whatever you decide, just don't look back with regret.

I probably would pick up the 05 because I think you can always mod it to be more and more fun while still having a low mileage nice car.

Cobra hands down. Not even a 2nd thought in my mind

What's wrong with how a white cobra looks?! Sexiest color out there (aside from Sonic Blue of course)!

Cobra. Just be patient and try to not grab the first one you see. These cars are plentiful and always for sale and you may find a better deal.
