Resolved HELP: P0174 2004 Mach 1

New intake flex tube and EGR installed…

Still got the p0174.

Damn…I’m lost at this point

I'm having a similar issue mine doesnt sound or act like it's running lean only signal is the code. Mine's not got a Vortech though just a Bbk intake/throttle body. I've done most of the same tests you have minus a smoke test.

Did the code pop up after the intake and/or throttle body install? If so, could be a vacuum leak post MAF

I’m not sure if it showed up because I wasn’t the one who installed it. The previous owner did.

They we’re extremely dirty and a few didn’t look like they were working

For the plugs that didn’t look like they were working, was that only on one particular bank?
Could be COPs, injectors…I’d change the plugs first since they’re cheaper

Make a new thread, and state exactly what you did. I’ll check it out and I’m sure a new thread will have more eyes, vs my thread that has a title with “resolved”
