Need suggestions for my engine, just got tore apart

go big!!! i regret (as i'm sure many others do) rebuilding my engine back to stockish about 2 years ago. i didnt do any research or really care back then. for not much more $$$ than what i spent i could have a pretty bad-ass engine right now. if not, i'd at least suggest upgrading anything that could be a real p.i.t.a to swap later if you can. ie bottom end stuff, oil pump, timing chain etc that you'd have to tear things apart for.........

Depends what you want to do. One thing I will mention is have the block checked out by a machine shop before ordering parts or anything. I bought a 150K mile longblock out of an '87, and despite having terrible looking bearings, it did not need an overbore. Being able to reuse the factory forged pistons saved me a lot of money.

With 60k, I would save your money on a rebuild.

If you were to do that, go with a stroker, not a basic rebuild.

That would be like throwing money away in my opinion...
