Need to bypass heater core, any suggestions

I have a leak in my heater core inside my car resulting in antifreeze dripping into the passenger side leg area. I'd like to just bypass this problem for a bit since I don't ever use the heat down here in Florida. Anyone know who sells the tubing that will allow me to reroute the coolant flow back into the EGR instead of into the firewall/heater core? Thanks for any help.

i just normally have gotten a little section of tube to connect the two heater lines (before they go into the pass compartment). the 'Help' section of parts stores sell them or you can get some metal line from the home store, if you measure the ID of the lines.

haah this happened to my friend in his bmw. we just went under the hood found the tubes that went to the heater core and back. We then went to home depot and got a copper spacer and just put the two tubes together. Seeing as most of his coolant had already spilled on his carpet we didnt worry about the leftovers. However you must wash your carpet very carefully as the coolant will eat threw it quickly.

Check out Home Depot's plastic tubing section. They should have a 5/8" to 3/4" hose splice and some hose clamps that will work just fine. I got some copper tubing and a couple of elbows and made my own for the Explorer manifold I am using.

just buy a 6 inch piece of hose from the auto parts store and route the two hardlines back to each other before the firewall, 25 cent fix.

I thought the weep hole through the firewall would stop that?
