Need to know what i need for putting in the headliner

I need to put my headliner in so I can get my windshields in. So what i need to know is what i need to put it in. I'm talking about company names, specific details on everything for what to get. I need to know everything glue, insulation, etc....everything. I also need to know what glue i need for weatherstripping...thank you ahead of time

This is a real nice step by step on installing headliners from Oboebrian. I will add DO use the SUPER trim adhesive...the general purpose flavor doesnt work very well even though the can says you can use it for headliners.

I agree with charlies..supplied a new headliner, rear window gasket and $100 to a local upholstery shop and I had my headliner installed perfectly.

I paid $39 for the headliner, and $20 for the super trim adhesive and took 3 hours my first install and about 1.5 hours on my second. It's definitely an easy thing to do yourself. Just be patient and don't cut too much of the liners. BTW by tons of those binder clips... they are great!

I've had many people with stangs follow my write-up and did it themselves wit great success. Johnpro also has a good write-up somewhere on the VMF archives (but it's only text). I'll post it here if i can find it tommorrow.
