Need to order weld wheels for a 68 coupe...what sizes to order

4.5 inch backspacing and your front tire selection or rim I should say all depends on what look you are going for and what size tire you choose.

check out my home page and look at Kevin's '68 coupe. It has 15x8 Welds in the rear and 15x5 Welds on the front. Those are 28x10.5 slicks on it. He occasionally street drives the car and said he wanted a bit wider rim on the front for safety. I've heard of lots of guys running 3.5" or 4" rims on the front and rolling the tire off when they took a corner. Naturally, these yahoos don't carry a spare.
