Yes, TR6060 is probably the way to go transmission wise. Although, honestly, the s197s with the quickest 1320s are running beefed up 5R55S or 4R70W. One of the main reasons I bought the auto. I agree 100% with what everyone is saying about formulating a COMPLETE plan before buying your first aftermarket part. Do some research, write up a build sheet with very specific parts and post it up. We'll pick it apart and tell you how we'd do it if we had the money.
Decide on your goals and then buy parts that will allow you to achieve them with room to grow. You never know when you'll get the craving for more. You can reach your goals with a whipple, KB or centrifugal blower or even the new techco (
TECHCO International - Mustang Performance Parts ) but if it were me with your goals, I'd do a twin turbo. Its a more involved build though. That and dual or triple fuel pumps, forged internals, beefed up tranny, Driveshaft, Stout rear end and some tires would make that a mean ride.
I personally don't go for body kits and misc bling. To me there is a huge difference between tastefully executed and begging for attention. In the end, you can make your car as gay as you want cause you're the one who'll have to drive it. Good luck.
