i was wondering where i could find a good quality bra for my car. Its an 03, GT and i need one for my trips to and from college (UF). i was preferably looking for one with a mesh screen over the grille since i have the grille delete kit, and also one that would fit with a mach 1 chin spoiler. thanks for your help!

Dont do it dude - Look at Stangnet's Project Bullitt - it's got a clear bra that looks multiple times better than the blast from the 80s type black bra.

Bras are for chicks

www.invinca-shield.com
go to this site for a real updated version. they hold up great and you still get to enjoy your paint you can barely see it. gl let me know what you think.

I have the Ford one for the GT. I only wear it during long trips between cities. There's a little info on it on my cardomain page.

I did a lot of research before I bought it. I had the LeBra one in hand but returned it to the store. It was too cheap and flimsy and didn't fit right. I don't know about the other brands.

As the others said, go with the clear shield. I personally think a bra takes away the look of a car. Might as well drive with the car cover on...

I've only seen bad things happen with bras. But, on a road trip or something I don't think it will do to much, just don't leave it on your car for years in the sun.

Clear, or nothing at all. Bra's on cars look like $hit.

One thing to consider--call up your local tint shop and ask them about the clear coating they can put on the front of your car (to protect it from dings / chips). My guy said he would cover the whole front for about $160.00 and had a warantee with it as well. Doesn't hurt to call around for a few minutes to at least inquire. I don't remember exactly what he said the coating / process was, as I will get this done once my touch-up paint comes in. LOL - Mega

Forget the bra. Drive the car without it who cares about the front bumper. When collage is over and you are making money get a Cobar R front bumper and all will be good again!

No. Some of the straps go from the bottom edge of the bra and clip to the bottom of the car. The chin spoiler would be in the way. I believe you can order the one for the Mach 1.

I bought my mustang used, and it had a bra on it, I thought no big deal, whatever. A week later I took the bra off to clean under it, and the paint under the bra was so screwed. There were rub marks on the hood, and the paint at the very front lip of the hood was bubbling, the kid that owned the car before me must have never taken the damn thing off to clean under it.

I would definitely do the clear bra.You can't tell it's there until you are right on it.I just hate seeing mustangs with bras.Usually means that they were too lazy to fix whatever the problem is underneath. If you do decide to put a bra on it, you will have to either get the mach1 specific, or remove your chin spoiler.

Stay away from the bras if you like your paint. The new 3M shield is the way to go, it wont damage your paint and you don't have to take it off, and you can't tell its on there unless you are looking for it.

Well you can prevent it from getting worse, touch it up before you have the shield put on, and you will not be able to tell.
