Need your opinions on shock purchase

kyb agx 8 way adjustables. there is no better "bang for your buck" out there.. i dont see any argument. i paid $330 off ebay for them brand new from a company.. not some lucky bid, and they ride great, plus you can adjust them anyway to ride however you want. cant do that with $600 bilsteins.. i couldnt be happier with them. ..not in any way talking down on bilstiens tho.. its what i have on my big suburban, and theyre great too, but for the stang i wanted adjustment, and like you.. not a huge chunk outta my wallet.

Just remember that old saying "you get what you pay for" applies here.

I've had both non-adjustable Tokicos (oem Bullitt shocks/struts) and now Bilsteins, and there is NO comparison between the two. The Bils have a lifetime warranty also, which no one else offers.

Save your money and do it the right way the first time, whatever you chose. A few hundred more isn't going to kill you and you'll be happier in the long run.

Dude

Get the Bilsteins if you only want to buy shocks and struts once.

Get somethine else if you don't mind replacing them again in another few years.

www.stangsuspension.com has the best prices I think.

The fronts are $179.95 each and the rears are $95 each. The whole set should run you about $550.

I am lowering mine this winter and just need to get the struts to complete my setup.

Keep saving for the Bilsteins; especially when you're lowered 2 inches. For the price range of $300, you're looking at Tokico HP's...I could almost swear they are the same crap as the stock ones. Look at my sig.

I've seen Bilsteins on ebay for $520 shipped when I was in the market for them, but ended up buying from Maximum Motorsports though.

Man...I'm so close to getting the tokico illuminas...but your saying spend another $100 on the bils. Is there a technical advantage? is there more valving/travel is it adjustable? Are they valaved for a 2" drop? talk to me jonny.
