Needs some hlep on 2-step switch

So I haven’t posted in awhile. I have been working in pretty heavy spurts on the car and thought about posting a build thread. So far I finished building my new rear end, plumbed the line lock, converted to 5 lug, have most of my turbo install done and have been rewiring most of the car. I decided to remote my battery and do all the wiring (line lock, gauges, stereo etc) all at once. Anyway, my new MSD 6AL2 has the built in 2 step so I need some suggestions on the best way to engage/disengage it. I've heard push buttons, pedal switches, but need some honest opinions. Right now the line-lock switch is mounted on the shifter, but thought about moving it. Let me know your experience and the best way to go.
