My nephew just turned 16 and here is what he got as a first mustang. It's a 1988 GT auto stock Motor. He is still in progress of fixing it up. I haven't seen it in person cause he lives in Indiana. Anyone know what kind of hood and bumper he has on it? Does that bumper look right on that car??


any Ideas I can give him on making the motor run better than stock.

It looks like a ricer got ahold of it.....and raped it....and left it for dead....

Poor car..It looks awful. It has to lose that front bumper and those fenders with the stupid slits in them.

i agree. looks like a ricer raped it and left it for dead. if he wants any respect while owning or driving that car he needs new fenders and a new bumper.

kinda looks like the GTX front bumper and side skirts... bad news...
it's definitely ugly... the "z3" fenders... ew... looks like he's got no where to go but up now

And yes... definitely cobra r hood...

oh god...he's got the sideskirts too. i'm assuming he's got that GTX rear bumper as well. get rid of ALL of it. OMG!

Yes someone has definitely bastardized the front bumper and fenders. Get the replaced A.S.A.P. As far as making it run a bit better than stock the best thins to do first are a nice tune up, bump the timing up a bit, remove the air intake silencer if it's not gone already, and put in a panel K&N filter. Anything above that will start costing over 50 bucks.
