Neutral Safety Switch On Pass Side??

Ok, hey thanks for your efforts on this, really appreciate the help. One thing I learned with this 86 transition year car is as much stuff that is interchangeable, there is equal amount of parts that are one off! Have a great weekend!

Looks like the top cover is a different pn

I have two covers off a 1990 (one is on trans from my car)

right, the the Astro perfomance T5 ID page seems to list this as a 1 year only right side switch. I'm just curious if the switch functions the same as the later years since it is a World Class? I may just have to give Astro performance a call on Monday and see what they say.

Thanks Again!

yeah I can test it just have the engine out for a new cam, new shortblock and getting my heads ported too,

trans is not in the car yet, just trying to get the harness situated so it can hopefully go in and run without too much issue.

I found the 86 wiring diagram on FEP / Clutch switch located at F20 on diagram shows wire on pin 6 ( red with light blue stripe) on harness located at B21 on diagram.
I will check mine to confirm, I guess I can cut it and wire over to the switch from there?

Be careful as clutch switch could mean the starter circuit preventing car from starting.

In fact, red w/blue strip I am almost positive is starter circuit safety wiring.

Really need a 1986 EVTM....unfortunately they are $50+ on eBay
