Nice!

- Block is bored & honed oversize with torque plates, main bores are line honed and the block is detailed inside and out. Forged steel crankshaft is modified to enhance oil flow, and electronically balanced. Manley H Beam forged rods and JE pistons with Steel backed moly rings are fitted. FM race bearings are used and ARP main studs hold the main caps in place. Shortblock is ideal for supercharged or nitrous use up to 500HP.

Link to sight.

Bad reputation??? What? You obviously don't hang out around the racing circles.

Sean Hyland has a horrible name when talking about the Modular motor. He recently released a book on the Modular motors. Although the book has some good stuff in it, there is some major areas of the book which is dead wrong. Some of the modular parts he used to sell were the Ford Stock parts that he charged a higher price for.

Don't believe me:

Do a search for "Sean Hyland" at these sites:
http://www.corral.net
http://www.modulardepot.com
http://www.tccoa.com

I may add to that list.

Just ordered some parts from them. I spoke to them on the phone. I hope you are wrong.

Reading your other thread, I will comment here. His price on the Headers is on par with the selling price at other places. You could have saved a few dollars though.

My comment about his prices being high, well look at what he is charging for Comp Cams for the Modular motor. Then goto http://www.modularperformance.com and look up the price of Comp Cams there. About $70.00 difference.
