New 1/4 PB! Almost in the 11s!!!

Went to Gainsville dragway tonight with a few of the usual suspects! It was prepped well and there were some fast cars here tonight (some of them ours!).

I had the same setup as Valdosta but with lower temps and much better track prep. It did pay off:

I did have a high trap of 118.54 also on a 12.252 run. This was all done on street tires to boot! With drag radials I will be in the 11s.

I did run against an 04 Cobra Vert and laid the smack down on it! That one is on video thanks to Steve (twin turbo GTO). There were five Cobras there tonight. I was faster then 3 of the 5! The other two were in the 11s (11.5s and 11.9s). Those two were hauling a$$ . . .

nice job dude, maybe I will be able to post the same thing in the next couple of months. Awesome job spanking the Cobra, those guys tend to be jerks and I like them hurting.

Thanks. The two Cobra owners I taked to were cool but three others seemed to be snooty like their $hit didn't stink!

Very, very...well done... Each run is getting better. R/Ts are getting faster too!

Don't fault the panty bunched 'Bra owners, Doc. It's an ego slam to have spent as much $ as some have and get spanked by your GTO. They need to lose gracefully.

What was the humidity/temp like when you fellas ran?

Hehe. I actually drive better when I'm wearing my rhinestone encrusted Cobra thong panties. Hell they were worth 12.3 @ 112 with a 1.74 60' and a .319 r/t. Of course being a uptight Cobra owner the trick is to have the thong wedged as tightly as possible.

Just to prove the point further the pink Cobra thong was key to my 1m 37sec lap around PIR last week

As far as giving you a round in the 'bra we'll have to discuss that off line

Thanks Doc. That's on stock Goodyear F1s. Crappy tires but they are cheap. I've been snatching every free pair I can get my hands on. Bout time to step up to something a little stickier. Not going to the race tires just something closer to my Toyo T1-Ss.

Cobra is heavy just like the GTO. You may want to try EBC Reds all around. They are a ceramic hot street/track pad. About $89 a set.

If they had EBC Yellows I would say go with them because they are straight track pads (put on for the events only) but they don't have them for the Cobra. I went with yellows on the fronts and reds on the rears for track use. I will get to try them out in November. I have heard good things.

You may get more then one event out of your pads if you swap out.

Don't feel unwelcomed . . . We like Cobras. I believe that they are referring to the cocky, not-so-friendly Cobra owners, not you, saw. Of course, those kinds of people own all types of cars, not just Cobras.

Yeah Sawman..You and I have had our small disagreements because sometimes you are a short-sighted, stubborn person. I definately LOVE your Cobra and would steal it from you in an instance. I am a tad 'Bra Jealous. I fault you not for your car.

But, I still love your input and sense of humor. Come on.... Give it back to us. We deserve it. You have been so quiet since Excon left....(Oh, I know... I think the red thong would work wonders for you. )
