New 2.3 Fox Owner In Ny

Did the junkyard underdrive pulley swap and deleted the air intake muffler. 2.3 is running soooo much better and smoother . Not so much an increase in power but it isn't struggling or chugging along . The intake did not produce a high level of noise as others had reported . My Jeep has a cone filter and you can hear it at wide open throttle. This is rather quiet .

Intake tube looks really nice, what did you use?

Typical stuff, exhaust pipe and silicone 2 1/4" hose couplers.

Didn't realize I hadn't been on here in so 4 or 5 years. Well the 5spd swap was done (from an SVO) along with the Aerostar AWD aluminum driveshaft. Hurst short shifter and Ford Escort 1.9 flywheel. Fun to drive now. Still haven't put the console back in but did get to install tilt steering. So no radio but more fun and the sunroof no longer leaks. I'm driving with the crummiest steering ever. No horn and terrible shape. Mounted upside down no less. Picked up an 86 Mustang GT three spoke. Looks like the SVO style wheels. I'll try to post pics later this week .
