Hello i want to throw my first post out there to introduce my self and my stang!
I recently purchased a 1998 yellow cobra. 1 week ago
This car was originally bought (brand new)from paxton superchargers in cali. Then it was sold to Steve Turner. Steve is the editor of 5.0 mag. The car supposely is only one of 709 yellow coupes in 98. If any know the truth on that please fill me in,
The car is bad ass but as i found out it has many bugs to be worked out.
I live in Pa but steve is in Florida, So dad and i flew down one last friday night and drove it home. The car got 27 mpg ont he way home (975 mile trip) the car has a viper 6 speed in it fabricated bell houseing from D&D performance. Awesome car as soon has it gets out of the shop ill get some pics up. Its in the shop because of fuel filter basket was filled with **** look like coffe grim and crap, was lacking fuel at 45000 rpms . The car is also getting dynoed as well. Thats was y i put it in the shop then this other problem popped up. Anyway sorry for the long wind post but just to let you know where i stand!!!!!
