My stock pump is toast, future plans include H/C/I and 6-9 psi blower. So I am going with the 255 Walbro. My car is completely stock right now, do I need an adjustable FPR now???? Thanks. (yes I searched, couldnt find a good answer)
Like Grn92LX said go with the big pump since you have to replace the burnt out one. Especially since you are planning on a power adder. While it is nice the AFPR is not required when going with a larger pump.
I disagree. Although the pumps are supposed to put out stock pressure out of the box, the Walbro 190 I installed on my GT40/E303 motor was off by a fair amount and gave me idle issues. The pressure was pretty high at idle, causing it to be soft and unstable. I installed an adj. FPR and gauge, and dialed it back closer to stock for daily driving.

Yep - another vote for the possibility that the pressure will go up a little bit. Enough to matter? Gotta wait and see since the pumps dont seem to all flow the same.
