They said American Muscle has FR500's for S197 Mustangs with the proper offset. I got all geeked because I want 05 wheels for my 81 Mustang with the 2001 axle because of the bigger offset. I go on there, and they are all 18's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF???? They have had those forever. Why can't they make an FR500's in a 17X9 with a +44mm offset????? I don't want the 18's because it is pointless to spend more money for added weight and size that I don't need...and the 17, or 18...it's still the same wheel. I have 17" tires all over my shop. I have some 18's but they are almost bald.

You know...I never though of it that way. Companies make so many wheels in replicas, why can't they make every wheel in 17-18, and in every offset. +24, +7, +30, +44, and +46?? People have different suspension set ups on their cars, like I do, and I want a certain wheel with that set up. I don't want to settle for a wheel I don't like just because it fits the best.
