Good evening, my name is Joe and i am the proud owner of an 86 sage green coupe from Columbus Ohio. My car started life as a 2.3 auto and i enjoyed it like that for a while and one day in the parking lot of my college, it tried starting it self and caught fire... It was then i decided to convert it to a EFI 5.0 and bought and explorer motor from a junkyard....that was six years ago. Im now to a point where i where i should be able to have it all together this summer and look forward to using this site as a tool to help make that happen!

A lot of us here have been referred to as "tools" sometime in our past, so i guess you've come to the right place:zombie:!

Seriously though, several of the guys here have done the JY swap and can help you out. Fact is @90sickfox recently has done this and is in the finishing stages right now. Of course to follow him you'll need to get a turbo as well...Heck, i have one that i'll be swapping out the little V6 myself, but that'll be a couple years for it though.

Start a new thread in the '79-'95 general talk subforum with lots of pictures of your mustang and your new parts.
There are lots of guys with experience here to help you out.

We have a whole "sticky" thread in the tech section for engine swaps that will give you the "how to's" on your swap.

Good to have you with us.
