This past weekend was the Citrus Nationals at Moroso so I was out there to run in the bracket races. Main reason I wanted to go was good weather. Because I was bracket racing my new bests came on separate passes. For ET it came on Saturday night eliminations in some nice cool weather I went a 12.24 @ 105.43 the MPH low because I was peddling it past the 1000' mark since I was in front of the other guy and didn't want to break out (I still broke out by 2 hundredths and lost). Best MPH came on Sunday in eliminations against the same car I lost to the night before and went a 12.31 @ 109.94. We had a nasty 20 MPH head wind on Saturday that really slowed us down past the 1/8 mile. If we see the same weather we had on Saturday without the head wind the car will go 12.1's @ 110.

First off, CONGRATS!
Secondly, I know some of the things you've done to take weight off, but obviously not all of them. The curb weight of your car is less than 3000 lbs! That is less than I actually thought possible without stripping it down to bare bones (or damn well close anyway).
I need to talk to you further to find out some of the weight reduction secrets.

You can get a car like mine down to 2900lbs dry. Race seats, rear seat delete, no spare, tire iron, jack, light weight hood, race wheels, no bumpers, 1/4 tank of gas or less, tubular K-member, no sway bars, aluminum flywheel and driveshaft. My car stock was 3250lbs from the factory and the above dropped roughly 350lbs. All other accessories are on the car and I drive it daily.

Thanks everyone!
