hey guys new best time last saturday!
Ran a best time yet. Pretty happy!

RT. - .575
mph - 103.16
60 ft - 1.78
et - 13.16

Ran consistant low 13.2's all night. I am wanted in 12's BAD!!! Any suggestions on what i can do do get me in the 12's. I want long tubes but don't want to change them out every 2 years. Maybe lose some wieght. But some skinny's up front and lose my back seat and passenger seat. Any suggestions will be helpful.
Thanks
David

Awesome times n/a! Why is is that you think you'd have to swap LTs every two years? I don't understand. Go for headers and you'll be there. Mine were good for FOUR tenths!

Well i think long tubes will not pass smog! Correct? in california that is. I think rear seat delete is next, leather is somewhat heavy. Then maybe the new bbk equal length headers that are out. I might try adjusting some of the settings on the predator

I'm about to install teh BBK's this weekend. I will let you know what I think about them on Sunday. I will be starting a new thread then about them, so make sure to check the new threads on sun or monday mornin before you buy them. So far from the looks and from the header gaskets that they sent, I'm kinda worried that I wont be satified. But I hope they give me at least a SOTP felling so I dont feel like I wasted the money.

Great waiting for info on the bbk headers! I hope they are worth it power wise! I was thinking building my rear end and going with some M/T slicks.

13.1 with those mods?? 13.1 @ 103mph?? I may have to declare shananigans. If these times are legit, you are BY FAR the best driver in the world on the fastest track in the universe.

Well I do have lots of mods. All the bolt on's plus i just put the diablo programer in that day too. Two weeks before that i run consistant 13.3 at 101. with my best at 13.35 at 101.96. So it looks like the programmer droped me 2 tenths and 2mph increase. I don't have a scanner or i would scan my time slip. It was my first ever 1.7 60 ft. i usually have 1.8. Sorry you don't believe it man. but here is the run down on the whole run.

rt. .575
60 ft 1.780
mid mph 82.87
660 ft 8.405
mph 103.16
Et 13.16

Yeah, I was thinking he should be in 12's too with those mods. 60 ft is a little high but not really. looks like you just need some drag slicks, maybe stiffen up your back suspension a bit, and you'll be set. Your trap speed is on track.

So you're telling me your bolt on GT run's with 03/04 Cobra's???? I watch bolt on GT's run all day at my track, none and I mean NONE have cracked 13.5 ET. In fact, my "bolt on" Cobra is lucky to see low 13's, and I have at least 60 RWHP on an equally modded (which yours is) GT. Sorry, but I call

any 03/04 cobra with TRACTION should be hitting Real low 13's to high 12's almost stock. My buddy has a 04 cobra and his best is a 13.4, only because the best 60 ft he has had is 2.1. I think it is all about the 60 ft.

a stock 03 cobra should run high 12's with a few mods it should run high 11's in the right conditions...

just because you and everyone you "see" doesn't do it, doesn't mean it can't happen.

dont forget cobra's are heavy pigs
