Hey guy, just went to install my new Bomz (ebay) cold air intake, and it appears that there is no way in hell it is going to fit with the filter. I cant fit the filter they included through the side of the engine compartment into the fenderwell which is where it seems to need to go. Has anyone else been able to get this to fit correctly, or did they send me the wrong pieces? Thanks

You have to install the filter from the wheelwell. Meaning that you have to get down on the ground and push the filter up between your inner and outer fender with your hand, and then hold it there while tightening the clamp. It's easiest to do it with two people but can be done by yourself with some patience and new cuss words.

when i picked up my first wrench to work on a car, it was for a cold air intake on my old V6 back in 2000. Naturally, the car wasnt mine until i got my license and when i paid my dad for it. If it was one thing that pissed me off, that filter would be it. just bear through it, itll go on.
