my mavrick/granada disc brakes just weren't cutting it at 140+mph. these should do the trick:

the kit is top-notch. saved 40lbs off the front.

while i was at it, i dropped this in:

I put one of those "pumps" in a 68 289 coupe one time. Whoo-ee! Scary-fast, and still got good mileage.

i already had a 76mm on there. the 88 is ~15lbs heavier, so the total weight savings is 25lbs.

i got the brakes and turbo installed. up & running.
a screw-in brake gauge is a wonderful tool. the car pulled to one side hard. really hard. i bled the brakes several times to no avail. when i used the gauge, it showed that pressure was bleeding off. you couldn't feel it in the pedal. well, i found a few small leaks. now the brakes work great.

no issues with the turbo (thankfully). big difference on how the boost comes in compared to the 76mm, though. i'll play with the tune and try to get some of that back. track time this friday!
