Now that I have it running, I have taken it out for a few loops around the neighborhood, and have run it for a total of about an hour and a half. I hear absolutely no noise from the valve train, but I know that per proper build process, I will have to go in and retorque them.

I have 1.6 FRP pedestal RR's on the 165 AFR heads. I looked through a bunch of threads, but did not find a definitive answer.

I want to run it for about another hour total, and then drain the Oil and Coolant (it has just a miniscule amount of build oil in it). Would that be a long enough time running to do the adjustment? I only want to do this once.

Thanks for the input

Sorry, that really did not make sense  What I meant was that there is a very small amount (a few small floating drops of oil in the coolant.)

No, the build had lots of moly lube, and I used Mobile One for the first startup as I did not change out the pistons. (stock bottom end).

I was on the AFR website and it did not metion that I needed to readjust the rockers??? Do I need to do this?

I really don't want to pull the intake again to get the valve covers off in order to adjust them...

Mine have been quiet since the day there were installed. Haven't touched them since. That was 55,000 miles ago.....

If adjusted correctly the first time, hydraulic valvetrains will not need re-adjusting.
