So was burning time on Craigslist when I stumbled acrossed a 93 Reef Blue LX vert..never was a huge fan of the LX verts but the blue really set me off because I was going to paint my next Mustang blue anyways...so about 24 hours and one impulse buy later, I had my second Fox convertible. Black interior too I'm pretty stoked.

120k on it but you wouldn't think it by the condition it's in, probably some old guy's summer car. It's bone stock, but I've been talking to the guys at FordStrokers about a 347 shortblock so that'll change soon. My dead 90 GT will be the donor car for some suspension/stereo equipment and I'm thinking the new 347 will wear its TFS TW heads. Now I'll probably need to look into a rollbar at some point..

I've seen that car on CL's for a while, hopefully you drove a hard bargain.

It certainly is a pretty car that I'm sure you'll get plenty of enjoyment from.

Yeah I saw it a while back and ignored it, they had it posted for some rediculous price like 9 grand or something. I got it down to under 6 with tax/title/etc. I was fixing to pretty much steal it except some guy in South Carolina was ready to put it on his credit card, so I couldn't really haggle too much for it. It's a little more than I'd liked to have paid but I figured with the money I save not having to repaint the car, it was worth it.

Nice car brother! You only paid too much if you find a better one for less money! I see an 87 Grand National in the background!

Nice car man. Congrats! Can't go wrong with a black interior. The only thing I would do is get some correct center caps. Makes me miss my verts. Enjoy it bro.

before you even drive it. Lower it, throw some 10th anni cobras and some nice tailpipes and you'll have a sexy car

Nice car, love the color! I don't know what it is about Reef Blue, but it never looks the same in a photo as it does in person.

seen that car online he was asking like 5,995 or something. pretty good deal, from a dealer that is. The black interior is always worth the money, someone paid 7k for my red one with 130k and black interior.

Thank you everyone! I'm certainly excited to get the build underway and will definitely keep you fellow Fox fans in the loop. Right now I'm stuck in Afghan so I've yet to actually see the car in person but a credit card and very helpful family members to drive it around will get one pretty far.

First thing will probably be a 5 lug conversion with new rims, axles, 3.73's and rear control arms out of my dead fox, SFC's...just stuff to get it ready for the 347. I want to upgrade the brakes but so far I haven't put much thought into what I'm going to do with them yet.

Maybe my living room someday..although I think I'll park the Ford Escape out in the driveway. And the Mustang is the first reason on a list of many to get back stateside
