Well, I don't drive my 'Stang in the winter/snow.. After getting it painted and all shiny that's just a

I've been driving a 1993 Olds Cutlass which is nice and comfortable inside, but isn't really something I like...

So I picked up this:

2006 Subaru Impreza - 2.5L 4banger, 173HP, 5spd.

It's my first actual car that I'll be making car payments on and I'm kinda excited about it. It gets about 25mpg so it really helps me since gas is going up also. It's a blast to drive and handles pretty good also. Now I'm learning to drive a standard trans. and it's a little challenging [mostly just getting started from a stop] but I'm up to a challenge.

Does anyone else have any experience/info about these cars?

Youll find the excitement wears out more with each payment, LOL.
Pretty nice car though. I have a 97 Eclipse as my winter car. Its great on gas but Ive been driving the Stang the last month or so because the Eclipse needs a head gasket and I want to do the timing belt since its aproaching 90K and I dont know if it was ever done. Gotta love interference motors In any case I have a night job at Advance auto now so 20 percent off parts ought to get the ball rolling nicely.

Handling on it is awesome---and mine is stock!
I was driving home noticing that turns I made in the 'Stang at 50mph I can make at 70mph in this thing.. haha
