A bunch of guys from SVTOA are going, Ken (Chupacabras)from that group is showing his Mystic 04. You may want to send him a PM for further info

The show opens to the public @ 10:00

Scott,
If you want to go with the early crew, just be there at
6 am.

If you go with the early crew, and you are not in the show, you can follow them right to the gate and then park in the Sears parking lot across from the show intrance and then watch as all the "show" cars roll in. That's kind of cool to do.

I don't even know if I'm going to come back now to drive up with either group. I'm going to be out untill late Saturday night up in L.A. so I might just meet everyone there. I got your numbers.

anyone have directions or an adress to where we're meeting in carlsbad. I bet I have the record for the longest distance drove to get to the show. I went on leave this week and went home to arkansas to get my car. took 2 LONG hard days of driving (1700 miles), but my car is here now so I will start going to the events.

I still got Jersey plates on my car so if I don't let the secret out anymore than I already did then I can say "Oh yeah, I drove all the way from Jersey for this, Mustangs for life man..."

Are you still in Arkansas or here in town? Let me know where you're at and I'll give you directions to meet us in Carlsbad

Keep in mind that entrance for participants in the show closes at 10am. C'bad to Knotts in 1 hour is definitely do-able with no traffic, but cutting it close.

Of course entry for spectators is all day.

Im in SD. (point loma). Are the Stangnet and Socalstang groups meeting at the same place? I think the wild horses group is leaving at 830 from carlsbad. Should get all 3 groups togeather.

We tried that.
Too many wimps unable to get up early

The meeting spot is at "The Windmill" located at the north east intersection of the I-5 and Palomar Airport Road.
It used to be a Andersons Split Pea Resturaunt, now it is a T.G.I.Friday's and a Holliday Inn.
You can't miss it, it is a large Danish style windmill.
Take I-5 to the Palomar Airport Road exit in Carlsbad.
Go east to the first intersection/light, turn left (north).
Then turn into your first driveway on the left and go straight into the parking lot.
Look for a bunch of Fords.

Watch out for the highway patrol this year, we had a meeting yesterday and our foreman is a part time highway partol and they will be out in force tomorrow morning, they arent for the speeding stuff this year, especially the groups.

I asked Wildhorses to join in any group runs and they declined.
