Meh on new cars. I briefly owned a 2015 in 2016 and got rid of it. It wasn't the fastest thing out there (compared to a Demon for example), it doesn't handle all that great (it's heavy), and I wouldn't really call anything about it 'refined.' It sure did have a lot of touchscreen crap though, but I wasn't looking for an iPad with crap that goes out of date or breaks before I've ever used it -- I wanted a car. Plus it sucks ass on the crash ratings I've heard.
To make matters worse, my '78 II got me more pu&$y and I'm practically a grandpa. And 40k was a house payment in my day you whipper-snappers. A turbo pushrod 5.0 can outrun a NA Coyote all day long in a straight line.
In my day, cars were about chicks. A flashy colored rust-bucket will get more attention from the girls -- guaranteed. Fast was for the pride. Refined is for the ladies, and I'm not sure why anyone looking for 'refined' would buy a Mustang of any year. The young generation needs to stop eating so much damned soy - it's got your priorities all messed up.
I don't even know what the hell my point is. Carry on and do what makes you happy.

at the same time. I was sitting in my driveway, and searched "Autonation Collision Center." It was bluetoothed to my phone, in range of my wifi, and has Sirrius sattelite radio (trial period). For those counting, that's 3 data connections, and two GPS receivers. Guess what, it couldn't find the place. If I type into my phone, it pops right up. Apparently Google maps is not always Google maps. So I have to type the address from my phone into my Sync 3. And people think we are soon going to have cars that can drive themselves when they can't even figure out the destination yet; it's absolutely delusional.
