This ones for the cheap SOB's and big fingered guys that hate the small aftermarket player buttons.
I finally replaced the factory cassette in my '93 with a Ford CD player that probally came from an Explorer (same as the cd player in my '92 exploder) It came from eBay for $50 shipped and was plug and play. The trick on the OEM players is to find one with the same connectors as you have. My '93 has the remote amp so I had to get a compatable player with the same plugs.
Dad got a 2003 6 disc setup for $28 a month ago and popped it into his F250. Plan on taking the single disc / cassette combo from it and popping it into his '91 coupe. It physicly fits fine, just need a 1/2" filler strip on the bottom to close the gap. Currently just too busy to go out and get the plug to splice it in.
Just thought I'd share
