Well I've finally got a leak in the ole' top so it's time for a new one.
These things aren't cheap!
Labor around here run anywhere from 350-650. The parts are about 250 if you want vinyl, 450 if you want cloth. If you need pads etc, add some more. And a warranty... sheesh.
I shopped around all the places in town and ended up settling on one of the more expensive ones. After talking with the owner who does custom hotrod interiors and has been in the business 35 years, I paid my deposit and will get the new top put on the first part of next week.
I'm getting away with $1,308.00 after tax for the cloth top, window and all misc items, labor and a warranty. Definitely not cheap - about $500 more than the cheapest actually but this guy does amazing work. He looked at my top and obviously had done this just a time or two before.
Hopefully it will be money well spent - a leaky top sucks!
