New Clutch

Getting ready to do rear main seal and gonna do a clutch at the same time. Even though it was done when I got the car, that was over 20 years ago now. So I want to upgrade to a nice unit. Car makes right about 350-360 at the flywheel. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I can't help on the clutch as mine is stock and I just put a stock replacement in. However, make sure you put the felpro rear main repair sleeve in or your rear main will just leak again. I didn't buy the installer tool. I just used a piece of wood flat against it.

I run a Ram HDX clutch and have no complaints with it. Peddle pressure is nice and light. A Spec stage 1 or Centerforce would also be good choices.

When my RMS was done the generic replacement leaked worse than the original. I replaced that one with a Felpro Teflon RMS that's been leak free for the last 1500 miles.

Lol yes because that would be about 8 years at the rate I drive my car.

Iv always had good luck with spec clutches.
