new cold air intake and throttle body...

i bought a used intake and throttle body today. its BBK and i whistles really loud on the car it is on now which is a 98 GT. i have a K+N fipk system now with stock throttle body. mine doesnt wistle in but i want it to really really bad. do you guys think it will? and what sort of differences will i notice if any?

I read up on the intake the t-body and while it adds a few ponies on the upper end, you loose a bit of torque down low; according to a 5.0 dyno test anyways.


I believe the bbk whistles no matter what it's on.

I don't hear any whistling from mine but I can hardly hear anything over my exhaust.

I have a BBK 75mm TB and Plenum and does not wistle.

My TB's idle screw had to be adjust a turn to fix a vacuum lock, sticky pedal when closed.

i have the bbk intake (didnt feel anything), and the dragon plenum( felt sotp difference in higher rpm's) but my plenum does whistle sometimes especially when its cold outside...
