Ditto on the hood. Think there's actually a couple of aftermarket fiberglass version of the stock hood on Ebay right now (was just surfing for '96-'98 Cobra's yesterday). Otherwise....good choice.....certainly worth the trade of your '03 Ranger by the sounds of it.

And hey, you never know you might not want to drive your Fox anymore after getting this Cobra and switch it from your daily driver, to your "only driver".

I like it. Black is always nice...

Lose the hood, and refurbish the leather and you are good to go

Could be worse, it could have this airbrushed into it
But I like it, the car not the hood

Nice addition to the stable. I really like the '96-98 Cobras. A steep gear and a few bolt-ons and they are quite the screamer. Then of course there's the exhaust note.

Did you ask him if he still had the stock hood lying around? I'd get it on there ASAP....but then again, I'm not a teenager. My tastes tend to run a little more conservative, with all my talking being done "under the hood". I'll save the "flash" for you young punks.

I agree on the hood, buy a used black stocker and sell that, might make money on the deal and it will look 50 times better.

Other than that a real good detail and your set!

i actually like those hoods, i had it on my first 94 but it turns out that the Cobra R SVO hood is my elenore. the first time i put it on it flew up 5 days later (car had just been completely repainted) and cracked, shattered the windshield, knocked both of the fenders crooked, broke the cowl panel, and dented in the roof. got it all fixed and put the hood back on (with pins this time) and 5 days later totaled the whole damn car

stock hood, new steering wheel and take the cheesy pedal covers off, and you will have a sweet ride. Wax and wash that baby, and clean the interior up nice, it will be a beauty

OH yeah and get rid of that green interstate battery and grab yourself a ford battery from the stealership, should be about 90 bux or so, just put one in my moms 98 cobra

Both cars are sweet. I have a 96 black Cobra as well...and I have to say, get the stock hood. I have my old Cobra stock wheels on my black notch, and I must say they look SIIIIICK!
