Should be good for 8's with a higher gear(ran out at 1000ft) and better air and practice. It's a local shop here in Houston that puts out some of the fastest LSX and Mustangs around. Guess the customer wanted to do this. Personally, I think it is stupid. Just thought I would share. I can get more info on the build. This is the first time I have seen a motor swap on a pre fox body stang. Great driving, not sure the tranny, but it is not an auto.

I am not a fan of cross breed cars at all. It is one of the cheapest ways to go fast now, but not what I would do.

Right, because a piece of **** Ford motor could NEVER run 9's.

Like this car from Stangnet here, with a " junk ford motor" http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/821064-incar-video.html
Yeah, what a piece of crap! How does it run 9's with that **** under hood?

Not to take away from that new edge, but I've never seen so much stupidity in one post.

I'll just keep the rest of my thoughts to myself.

Then why buy a Ford car at all? There are plenty of ways to make a "junk Ford motor" fast. To throw in a big displacement GM motor is cheating, and I really hate cheaters.

I believe you guys took his statement the wrong way

Any "street" car that runs 9s is impressive, regardless of powerplant.
