meh it doesn't bother me if its for a dedicated race care, but not for a show car. I go to the Back to the 50's car show every summer at the MN state fair grounds. They usually have around 10,000 cars and all cars must have been built before 1964. They should rename that car show "Back to the 350's" I mean there is nothing wrong with Chevrolet engines, but I just feel that chevy engines should remain in chevy cars. I can't tell you how many old Fords, Mercurys, Willy's, etc... that are at the BTT50's show and have a 350 chevy v-8.
I think it destroys everything cool about a vehicle when you swap engine brands. Imagine if an owner of a Buick GN swapped the turbo 6 out for a terminator motor... that would be f'n lame.
