Been wanting one forever, glad I finally got one.
No making fun of my mixed plugwires, I just got this back up a few months back and need to hit a few attention to detail areas.

How do yourheaders run? Part of me wants to say u got that t70 on half the motor lol

Lol, all 8 go to the turbo.

Pass side header striaght down, Xover between sumps on pan, then over to the turbo

Main reason for this post was I refused to pay the $ for a 94-95 specific electric waterpump when the fox ones were much cheaper. So I swapped timing chain covers and got a fox elec wp.

Looks good! Have you noticed an improvement at all?

I, however, must say that I was (and still am a lil) confused as to where everything is routed in relation to the turbo?

So far the cooling seems the same as my ford racing wp. The gain is i can now leave it on in between runs (in staging lanes or pits) cooling the motor down.

As for the turbo, all 8 header tubes meet at the t4 flange, hence spooling the turbo. It is a custom kit, the kit was built to be clean but more so have minimal bends to increase flow and hp.

Fabrication pics...should clear everything up.

Hope this helps. Passenger side header goes stright down, X -over tube connects to pass side header and runs between sumps on oil pan and meets up with driverside header.



Look under wastegate at rusted area, this is where passenger side header finally meets driverside header so all 8 cylinders are blowing into the T4 flange.
The downpipe goes between the header tubes.
All is connected via vbands.



Whew think i got it that time.

Oh yeah, i still love my waterpump haha

I got lucky with my passenger side header. Most stang headers bend and go forward, mine does not. Also most x-overs are infront of the oil pan, where mine is between the sump.
The beni's i gained was for one, one less bend in my piping/header which = better flow. Also there is a large wire harness that runs infront of motor that most have issues with melting (when headers bend fwd, and xover is infront of motor) my setup doesnt have these issues.

I was only able to run the header/xover this way due to my tubular kmember.

I shoulda made a new thread huh...haha.

Hope this helps some guys, I swear I'm not running some new one bank turbo kit hah.

i have also wanted an electric wp for a long time, but have been hesitant mainly because i have heard they are not really reliable enough yet to be used with a daily driver. what is your take on that ... is that still true or are they more robust now? also, is yours pretty much a track only car now?

Your reasoning is mainly why i have held off for so many years (and the price haha), even though i see many running them on dd's. My car isn't driven as much as I use to, maybe 5k a year on the street so I opt'd for the elec wp for the gains it will give me at the track. The track is where my car see's most of it's time these days.

did you run into any problems swapping on the fox timing cover? looks like you had mostly custom brackets before that so I would guess that made it a lot easier than most of us would have.

OT: How's Jenna Bears going?

No issues, but I woulda made it fit if i did haha. Having no accs makes things easy.

I thought the alt looks so much cleaner mounted low like i have it. I had to make a few new spacers, didn't use the idler pulley supplied in the march kit and run a 33.5" belt.
I really like the look of the alt down low.

Just did this the same time i did the elec wp, I'm really happy with that.
