Problems, a small hole about half way up in my overflow tank. Tank gets filled to the top and overflows all over my engine. Radiator and engine are filled with nothing but air and a little anti freeze.

What could be causing this to happen. Only does this when i really romp on it.

When you have your rad full and the cap off do you see bubbles coming up in the rad when you increase your RPM's? Manifold or head gasket is allowing air to be sucked into the engine would be my guess.

changed T stat and gasket, drilled a 1/8th hole in the top to get rid of the air/constant flow...

hot glued the stock overflow and put a metal brace over the top. Drilled a new hole in the plate that bolts to the fron of the car and pulled the bottle further away from the s/c belt... cheap fix 10$$ hope it works

problem still happening, replaced the radiator cap, still happening...

I dont know if the radiator has a slight clog or the water pump is going bad, but the system is still getting air in it when i punch it for 5-10 secs, very frustrating.

When the car is off for 5 min it sucks all the overflow tank juice back down and the car runs fine.
