PSYCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

engine fired right up, sounded AWESOME and ran like a ****ING CHAMP!

So much to tell!!!
the bullets are LOUDER THAN A MOTHER FOOGER! has a mellow sorta quiet idle. Can really hear the cam nicely. and SCREAMS at WOT, I MEAN SCREAMS!!!!!! exactly like Mob said it was!

The b-cam sounds so nice, lopes great and sounds very mean with the mufflers!
The cam sure isnt the POS that its made out to be.

Engine sounds healthy, no noises... i am still stunned that it fired right up and ran great! only problem we had was i had the dizzy 180* off lol stupid me.

great oil pressure, cools fine. drive perfect, just like it did before.

took it out for the test drive and ring break-in. Screw all the naysayers on ported stock parts, i dont have any dyno sheets or anything, but the car ****ING PULLS, pulls very very hard and lost very little low end. My buds car has P heads and cobra intake, real doggy down low. the thumpers and tmoss intake really help it pull low. at 3k has plenty of grunt and then starts the neverending pull until i shift.

car is a totally differnt animal. I thought it had nuts before the engine swap. it sure as hell has them now, and big ones for sure :)
after riding in my stock engine that managed 13.9s, i know FOR SURE this engine has 12s in it. It just pulls so hard!

i feel proud that i built my own engine and doing this all myself.

THANK YOU everyone who helped me along the way, answering my dumb questions. Couldnt have done it without u guys!

PS. The car sorta of has a problem idling, it idles and low and acts like it wants to die. Should i just turn the screw on the TB till it smoothes out?

I told you that you would like the combo.

When the car is warmed up unplug the IAC and adjust the idel screw untill it will idel without stalling. plug the iac back in and check the tps. Reset the eec if necessary.

Thats great to hear!

For the idle issue check jrichkers surging idle checklist and follow it very carefully. Per the checklist: Set the idle at 600rpm with the IAC dissconnected and then reconnect it, set the tps voltage to .99v at idle and then reset the computer. This *should solve your idle problem.

Get it straightened out and some miles on it and GO TO THE TRACK!!! Let's see what it does!
