New FMS 'stock height' valve covers hit intake and throttle linkage

WTF

The metal plate that the throttle cable is connected to is in contact with the passenger valve cover. The driver side cover has contact with a vacuum line below the upper intake. (pinching the line between the cover and intake) no vacuum leak though.

These are advertized as stock height and are not even supposed to allow for roller rockers!

I oblonged the holes for my trottle cable bracket to move it up some. You may have to do the same.

used to have the same prob. 2 1" intake spacers fixed my prob, hope you have a cowl hood or try what sicarius did that sounds good!

Any fixes for the pinched vacuum line on the otherside between upper intake and cover??

Two 1" spacers? One 1" spacers is good enough for the tall FMS covers...why would you need 2" of spacing for the slightly taller EFI covers?

I don't think even a 1" spacer would clear the hood! Oblonging the holes is the only way.

Did you experience any tight fit on the driver's side?
