Whats the chances of getting an 06+ forum strickly for the Pony Package Mustangs?

I for one bought the Pony package because it was different then the other stangs... But I do have questions about the package... like how many were built per year, colors, are they gonna be as sought after as the 60's pony series, options, so on....

Not likely. The V6 forum is pretty empty as it is. I don't think there would be enough interest.

The only S197's that will hold any value will be the Shelby's, Roush's, Saleens, Bullitt, etc... And even then, it won't be anything like the cars of the past. Back then they just drove the cars for what they were worth. They had no idea they'd be worth anything, so most did not survive and that's why they're worth so much now, coupled with the fact that they didn't have the protection products that we have now.

No offence (and I honestly mean no offence), but a couple of exterior enhancemence don't really constitue a "Specialty Mustang" IMO. All of the tech and chat for the Pony Package cars is virtually identical to that of the base and GT models. And lets be honest, it's not they're considered a rarity, or collectors model.

I mean, if that were the case, we'd have to have one for the 25th Anniversary, 7-up, SVO, SSV, Special Edition, GTS, Kenny Brown, GT/CS, Parnelly Jones, Foose, etc, etc edition models out there too.

...convince Ford to stop production on them now and give it 20-years for their value to go up and maybe we'll consider it.

If you're really adamant about it though, PM Big Cat and see what he's got to say.

I have the premium interior trim package. I think it is kind of special.
Not asking for a special forum, though.

Don't take my response the wrong way. I wasn't trying to burn you down, but the fact of the matter is, is that we have so many Forums now that don't see the use they should, adding one more for a "not so special" (and by that I mean non limited production and available with any package) Mustang probably isn't going to see a lot of traffic. Know what I mean?

And you're only showing one post because only the posts in the Technical Forums count towards your post count. Talk and Regional Forums do not.

Either way...welcome to the site.
