These are the same folks that have been doing Mustang Magazine for the last several years. Mustang is a very high quality, over sized publication, ala Hemmings Muscle Machines. You've been asking for it for years. They're doing it. Subscribe now. I just signed up for two years.

Sounds like a cool idea, as long as they give you something for your money. Nowadays there is no value with magazines anymore. I used to pay 4.99 newstand price for MMFF and 5.0 Mustang and there would be hundreds of pages of cool stuff to look at. Now, the magazines are 6 bucks each, have less than half the pages of the older mags and MORE advertisements that take up 8-10 pages sometimes! (can you say American Muscle).

With the internet at my disposal the last thing I want is half of my magazine to be ridden with ads. I like to see a small glimpse of what LMR and AM have to offer in the mag and then be able to go to the websites and see everything. I buy magazines to learn tech and see people's rides!!! I've bought maybe 5 magazines in the last 4 years because of this BS. I will sit on the fence until you guys let me know how good this magazine really is!

Dave I'm kinda torn on that. On one hand when I'm looking at Mustangs and reading a publication that caters to them, I kinda prefer that they be Fox mustangs. Even in the grand scheme of things after owning quite a few classic Mustangs, The Fox is the car I prefer. The difference in the cars make tech articles body specific, so I get the reason for the dedicated publication. But an entire publication w/ nothing BUT fox mustangs in it is all the eggs in one basket as far as I'm concerned. A magazine w/ dozens of me too foxes, sporting me too mods, and me too tech.

Seriously, How many damn Fox mustangs can you look at before you just turn, bend over and puke Wythors??? 1000, 2000, 10,000, Infinity, double secret infinity ??

NO S**T!!. I'm w/ you. It's like watching an episode of Musclecar on Saturday morning...18 minutes of commercials,....12 minutes of actual programming.

Considering that I just turned 49, have owned a Mustang since 1978, have had my convertible for almost 13 years and still get excited when I see a Fox I've never seen before, I can't answer that question.

Since the S197 came out and the magazines appeared to completely abandon the earlier cars, there have been many threads on here wishing for a Fox only magazine. Well, somebody finally did it and I'm passing the info along. If you're not interested, fine. Don't buy it. But don't knock a company for being interested in our cars. Read the editorial on their website. It sounds to me like they have a great concept. Give it a freakin' chance before you shoot it down in flames.

If they format it something like the rodders journal, ad's up front and in the back none in the middle and make it bi-monthly then it will work. Kinda with Mike on the how much can you look at thing. The tech will probably have to be more restoration based seeing that these cars are entering their second and third decade, spread it around to other fox based cars like the Capri, T-bird and Cougar and it might just make it. I will buy the first and second issue before Ill decide if im going to subscribe or not.

Calm down Wythors. I'm just voicing a "democratic" opinion in an "all for one and one for all society."

AND I've owned Mustangs since 74, and am Still a Ford guy. The stuff I find exciting requires a little more difference than another Fox mustang w/ paint and wheels/Tires. I'm thinking the Boss 429 motor'd 67 Cougar on Gearz would get me to look up.

I agree, what I failed to mention was that I rarely pick up a "Mustang" magazine anymore because of their infatuation w/ the 05 and up cars. I'm just saying that I don't know how many of us are left standing. What percentage of Mustang ownership is now relegated to fox's? 5%, 10%,....20%?
I mean when you go to an all ford event, w/ 1000 cars in attendance, is there 200 fox mustangs there, or 50?(I'm thinking way less)

I'll "give it a chance". I will not base it on the first several issues (they'll be their best) I'll go and pick it up in 6 months and then I'll decide. Hopefully it won't ignore the Fairmont, Zephyr, T-bird, Cougar and Capri.

I bit the bullet and went with the 2 year subscription. If nothing else, I truly hope that the ads are all centered on the Fox. Our portion of the Mustang section in the Summit catalog is getting dismally small. Everything is 2011+

I stopped subscribing to MM&FF and Modified Mustangs because the articles for the Fox were becoming scarce.

Thanks for posting this Wythors. I think its great people are finally coming out with a Fox only magazine. I stopped buying all the other magazines years ago because their lack of fox content. And 2 years for only $45? can't really go wrong there. And if it does suck it will be good reading material while I'm taking a dump

i dont know about you guys but i love foxes. i get tired of seeing s197 in the magazines. every time im at the store i look in magazines to find fox articles, and if there is one i will but just for the article i know you can only cover so much on a fox, but seriously how much can you cover on a mod motor. foxes are a thing of the past but its good to see a magazine dedicated to them.
