New guy- first Stang- I love it !!

I’ve always wanted one. Picked up a 2001 GT... true CAI, BBK shortyheaders, catless full exhaust x Pipe into Magnaflows, Accufab throttle bod, MSD coil packs and plugs, upgraded pulleys, lightweight flywheel, stage two clutch, 4.10 gears , short throw shifter- manual of course. She moves really good and sounds amazing. Fun car! Only issue I’m having is a small oil leak, which I think might be coming from the oil pressure sending unit/ regulator. Is this anything anyone has seen before? Thanks!!

Not super familiar with new edges/mod motors, but any chance you can show pictures of the actual leak? Maybe try cleaning off the sending unit area and then keep an eye on it?

It’s this thing by the oil filter- clean right now but oh it’s a leaking

25 year old cars are bound to leak a little here and there. My truck is over 10 years old and it developed a small leak from around that area. Is it leaking from the sensor area or is it leaking from the filter? It looks questionable there at the filter.... In any case, you could pull everything and reseal it all. Pull the sensor and plug at the bottom, clean it all up, use some good sealant and reinstall. I don't know what the main piece looks like, but it may require a gasket? It wouldn't hurt to re-gasket the filter adapter while you're at it. I'd suspect that that would take care of it for you. It did mine.
